Emotional Wavelengths: Guiding Workouts with Mood-Based Visuals

In honor of World Mental Health Day 2022, Nike collaborated with selected athletes to create a unique workout experience for the NTC app, guiding users to workouts based on their current mood—whether confident, anxious, energetic, or tired. Through the Emotional Wavelengths concept, moods are visualized as expressive “wavelengths” using dynamic lines and colors that mirror the energy of emotions. By linking colors to feelings and showing where emotions resonate in the body, this concept helps users find workouts that build a stronger connection between mind and body.
